Making the Re-enrollment Priority an Equity Strategy

Our system has charged us with re-enrolling as many students as possible–a critical goal for preserving student access to college degrees and our system’s budget. However, there is a risk that we merely re-enroll students into the same systems that caused them to leave us initially. An alternative is to ensure that re-enrollment practices center student needs, support re-enrollee’s success, and serve as a launch-pad for equity-based strategies that ensure our disproportionately-impacted students are ultimately well-served by our campuses. 

Join us for a virtual conversation exploring how middle leaders can create re-enrollment strategies that equitably support students once they come back to campus. We’ll explore strategies used by other campuses in the CSU as well as similar universities across the country. We will also have time for Q&A to support your thinking about how to apply these strategies to your context.
