By CSU Student Success Network Staff
Dear Network Colleagues,
We would like to send you and your loved ones our best wishes for continued wellness and safety during this unprecedented time.
The Coronavirus has had an impact on all of our work, including our Network events. We are a team that is dedicated to gathering people together to share, learn, experiment, and build community. Toward those ends, we are rethinking and redesigning our meetings, including creating virtual gathering spaces. For those who are interested and able to participate, here is what we know about the future of our planned events:
CSU Student Success Network Conference:
As the COVID-19 public health emergency continues to call for the cancellation of upcoming in-person events, the CSU Student Success Network and our Conference team have decided to move our Fall 2020 conference to a reimagined and virtual format.
Over the next few months, the Network will continue to explore ways to address the new issues facing our students, institutions, and system, with a focus on the implications and opportunities for equity. Our Conference team remains committed to providing learning opportunities for sharing your work within the Network and to serving as a resource for the CSU during these times of disruption and transition.
Virtual/rescheduled events this spring:
If you already arranged for travel to any of our canceled/postponed events, please work directly with your travel administrator and/or your campus department to cancel your plans and seek reimbursement in accordance with your campus policies and procedures. Please do not hesitate to message our Director, Terra Thorne, with any questions you may have at terra.thorne@csus.edu.
Sending calm, kindness, and gratitude to everyone during this challenging time.
